Review: Grooming Hands Gloves

I love trying out new grooming products on my horses so when the opportunity to try out Grooming Hands grooming gloves came up I immediately said yes.  These are the most advanced anti-static massaging gloves available, and it’s true…no hair clings to the glove as you groom.  That was very nice!  During shedding season, to me nothing is worse than having all those little hairs covering EVERYTHING so it was great to have a product where that was not a factor.  These gloves are latex-free with carbon filaments throughout glove to reduce static discharge.  Plus the horses think it feels great!

I wear a size 8 in riding gloves so I wore the size Large in these gloves.  I was right on the line between medium or large but decided a little extra room is always nice.  They fit great, are comfortable and have little nodes for massaging and grooming in the orange area.  They stay on great and don’t slip while working which means you can really work and scrub with them on.  You can also do other things while wearing them so you aren’t constantly having to take them off.  They can be used wet or dry.

I groomed Petey in a circular motion which he enjoyed.  You can see in the photo below the grooves from the nodes as I worked.

Certainly agree that most animals love a good scratch! Recently written a blog post about the benefit of grooming and how it is such an important part of equine care. Not only does it keep them clean and healthy, it also mimics horses grooming each other in the wild and helps to build a better bond.
