Review: Two Socks Designs Custom Saddle Pad

I tend to think that saddle pads are like shoes: you can never have enough.  All are created differently and serve a specific purpose.  The more custom I can make a saddle pad the better!  I was thrilled to hear about Sydney of Two Socks Designs through Apple Lane Equine when we designed a custom fleece jacket together.  We now have a fabulous business relationship and have created the best items.  She graciously sent me a custom saddle pad and it is amazing!  It was a total surprise  design which I actually thought was very fun.  After chatting back and forth and telling her some patterns and colors I liked and some things about my Taylor, she came up with this super cute saddle pad.

I absolutely adore the colors and patterns.  I am a pink girl so I’m always good with that color.  I also love bling.  One of my favorite patterns is chevron so she nailed that too.  Anything that proudly displays Taylor’s past as an OTTB I am on board.

She took the fleur de lis inspiration from VR’s logo, added the chevron pattern and Taylor’s race name, and voila!  Perfection!

I also love that the other side pays homage to Taylor’s past and current career.  You definitely can never have too much sparkle!

I love the padding of the saddle pad.  It’s a great quality, good weight, and I love the diamond quilting.  Sydney can create any custom saddle pad just for you or let her embroider other items such as polos or hats for you too.  Her work is impeccable and she is fabulous to work with.  She has helped me realize my dream for VR logo’d merchandise that will be available soon!
