When Jord contacted me about checking out their wooden watches, I jumped at the opportunity! What a fresh idea and I was instantly intrigued. I have a few of your traditional boyfriend style watches so I thought it was extremely cool to add one made of wood to my collection. The packaging immediately hints at the luxury that awaits you! It safely rests in a beautiful wooden box and around a herringbone pillow. If you have followed my posts before, you know how much I appreciate the packaging and details. Jord definitely nails that here. I even loved the small wooden tag on the watch.
I chose the Maple & Rose Gold watch within the Sidney Series. This watch absolutely does NOT disappoint! It is truly stunning. It has a beautiful pink sapphire crystal face surrounded by Swarovski crystals. It is powered by Seiko Quartz Chronograph Stopwatch Movement (VD54) and has rose gold side buttons. They were very easy to pull out and adjust the watch time. I had sent in my wrist measurements, and Jord had already adjusted the watch which fit me perfectly! I love the fact that it was ready to wear right out of the box. It has an easy push button to release the band and has a double snap to ensure that it is secure around your wrist. One of my favorite aspects of this watch is how lightweight it is! It doesn’t get heavy over time like some watches do, and it was very comfortable to wear. It’s also the perfect size for the boyfriend style of watch. It is the perfect color to add any bracelet color to and looks amazing with your arm candy!
I love pieces that easily fit into my busy, diverse lifestyle and this watch totally fits the bill. It looks gorgeous dressed up with your favorite maxi dress for work or styled casual for a shopping trip with friends. I wore it out to Sephora and received several compliments. People wanted to see a wooden watch up close. It’s really cool!
Which brings me to the most important part – this is the perfect watch for equestrians! It has that understated equestrian reference from being made out of wood and adds a level of chicness to our barn style. Jord has several options to choose from so there is something for everyone, both men and women. Like I said earlier, it is so lightweight it won’t get in your way while you are riding or working. Plus everyone will want to get a closer look at it once they hear it is made out of wood. I also love the Swarovski crystals for a small sprinkling of bling! I love to sparkle!
