Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Rolex and am having the best time! Second, so much has happened in two days I can barely keep up. I will do my best to do a bigger write up on Rolex when it’s over, but for now, here are some nuggets of fabulousness. (Yes, it’s a word in a VR land!).
The dressage phase has now completed, and there were some beautiful rides and others that put in a good effort. I’ll be honest…I was here to root for the OTTBs but mostly for Allison Springer and Arthur. I am a huge fan of this pair and absolutely adore Arthur. I got chills watching their test and knew he’d put on a good show. They came out being first. I’m crossing my fingers for them in cross country tomorrow!

I also really enjoyed watching some of the other top riders like William Fox-Pitt (you can’t imagine just how tall he really is!), Marilyn Little, Andrew Nicholson, Phillip Dutton, and Buck Davidson. These riders are at the top for a reason and really know how to show off their horses. Beautiful riding! I was disappointed Quimbo wasn’t here and Laine Ashker had to drop out (her horse had an abscess). But there are some great newcomers to keep an eye out for.

I have done a course walk with Hawley Bennett and Allie Knowles then another with Boyd Martin. He’s even more dreamy in person!
I hope you all have and continue to keep up with VR on Twitter and Instagram as that is where I am posting. My battery has been dying very quickly so I apologize for the moments it gets quiet! If you are here at Rolex and see me, come say hi! I’d love to meet everyone! 🙂
