Hello everyone!
I’m Raquel from the blog Horses & Heels, I’m thrilled to be guest posting here today for you. I’m throwing you a curve ball from Jennifer’s usual posts & going to be talking about western style – or perhaps how to look the part. Even if you are primarily an English rider sometimes you want to unleash a little cowgirl style.
I’m going to show you how to do it in a classy way.
Your number one essential is a pair of cowboy boots. From there it really just depends on what “type of cowgirl” you want to play for the day. I’ve created three different looks that showcase western style.

Oh & one more thing – please, please never wear one of those fake pink, or plastic straw cowboy hats, you will look like you belong on Girls Gone Wild. I’m just kidding… well sort of. The thing to remember is that western style comes from so many different elements, it’s okay to mix patterns, colors & prints as long as you have a theme going.
If you want to learn some more from me feel free to head over to horsesandheels.com for plenty of cowboy boots & more western inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I absolutely adore what she has come up with, and I would wear any of these outfits. The Rhinestone Cowgirl is the one I feel looks most like me because every girl needs a little sparkle! I’m in love with the bright colored bracelets in the Colorful Cowgirl, and the tooled leather clutch and belt in Classic Cowgirl are the perfect accessories. Don’t forget to click on the banner above and visit Horses & Heels! Raquel has a great site, and hopefully, she will do some more Western style guest posts for VR in the future! Thanks Raquel!
