The Kentucky Derby is still on my bucket list of events I haven’t yet made it to (oh but I will!). In honor of the Derby tomorrow, I decided to share what my dream Kentucky Derby outfit might look like. I have been in love with the giant purple hat from Titanic since I first laid eyes on it, and I think it would make the perfect Kentucky Derby hat. I know I can’t actually get that hat, and I would be happy with a replica or something close to it, but for dream’s sake, I got the hat. I then built the outfit around this most fabulous hat. I’m big into lace right now and love this white lace dress from Bebe. Next, let’s keep up with the purple theme. Add strappy shoes by Manolo Blahnik and a Givenchy clutch and you have an outfit made in fashion heaven. I’d throw on some fun, big earrings and arm candy, grab a Mint Julep, and I’m ready to watch the Kentucky Derby in style. Hopefully, my pick would win those roses!
