First off, I love the name of the this company: Horseworship. It embodies everything we equestrians feel about our favorite beast in the animal kingdom. We’ve often received strange or confused looks from those who just do not understand the horse world and how important horses are to our lives. I love that there is a company out there who understands and embodies this notion.
What word could describe the awe, the love, the trust and the daily gratitude I felt for the profound life-changing lessons and challenges that Tuxie and I faced together? To have a horse as a companion is to have a mirror to your soul. You really have to be ready for the strength and honesty of an animal who demands a leader and in return, will give you everything they have–if only you ask for it. Horse Worship.
Pamela was kind enough to send me her Dressage T-shirt and what I love most is how different it is from other equestrian t-shirts available. I also found the story behind the t-shirt incredibly charming. A romantic interpretation of this classic and beautiful sport where there is true partnership between the horse and rider. This original design by Pamela Robins features an elegant woman heading off into the warm sunlight. A letter suggests that her thoughts and her heart are with her husband who has had to leave home. She has written to him declaring her love and her wish for him to return safely. How romantic!
