Let me start off by saying this is by far the best horseshoe nail jewelry I have seen. When Kate from Lucky Horse Designs contacted me, her designs really caught my eye. What I like the most is that it doesn’t look like your typical horseshoe nail jewelry, and the shapes that Kate creates are very unique. I also love the added pops of color that accompany each piece. You have a choice of 9 colors to pick from: red, orange, bright pink, light pink, green, turquoise, dark blue, purple, gold, silver, and copper. These are all custom made just for you so let your creativity flow!
Kate was gracious enough to send me 3 pieces and they are all beautifully constructed. Each nail is bent by hand then wrapped with colored wire. I adore this design. It is the Heart-shaped Horseshoe Nail, and it is shown below in the keychain. This turquoise wire is perfect, and it gives it just the right amount of pop. It doesn’t have any sharp edges or points so no need to worry about it snagging on anything. It is constructed very carefully, and I think it’s the perfect addition to my OTTB keychain!
I didn’t tell Kate any of my favorite colors but she chose perfectly! I think the Looped Horseshoe Nail Necklace with the pink wire is the perfect accessory to go with my Apple Lane Equine jacket! I’m all about pops of color and this pink does the trick. Again, I can’t say enough about how beautiful this shape this. It’s a work of art, and you don’t immediately know that it is made of horseshoe nails. Another way great way to add that touch of your equestrian lifestyle to your every day life!
Last, but not least, are the super fun earrings! These are the Midlength Horseshoe Nail Earrings. The beautiful curve in the earring faces outward which I think really enhances the beauty and intricacy of the earring. Add your favorite color for the wire or do silver like shown here. Silver will go everything! They are the perfect length and not too heavy at all.
