Rolex 2013 Dressage Day 2 Recap

Another exciting day of dressage at Rolex 2013!  Saw some really gorgeous rides and the leader board shook up a bit.  Today, some of the horses seemed a little fussier than the day before and we all know what some will be going home to work on: flying changes.  But stellar performances by all!

Rolex really should serve as an inspiration for all equestrians.  If you work and train hard, the sky is the limit!  You too could be riding at Rolex one day.  It also goes to show that whether you ride at Intro or 4 Star events, everyone makes mistakes.  No one is ever exempt.  When this happens, learn from it and make yourself better because of it.  This is what all the champions do!  Take it for what it is and move on.  And I always pat your horse and tell him he did a good job!  So take Rolex and glean your inspiration from this spectacular event!

I also managed to memorize a dressage test that I will probably never ride ha!  But hey, it helps to anticipate the moves during each ride.  (I’m strictly a dressage rider, no eventing here).
