I love to find riding wear that has a little something extra. For me, that could be a touch of sparkle, some trim, interesting buttons, and so on. I have been very excited that the equestrian governing bodies have been willing to allow these embellishments and allow riders to have a bit more self expression in their dress. Here are a few jackets that I love for the fashion forward rider.
Spooks Riding
Pretty much everything on their website I want. I think they have nailed it for having functional, fashionable riding clothes. Who wouldn’t want this baby blue riding jacket? I know I do! They even offer a create your own show jacket. Wow!

Lena Show Jacket
Asmar Equestrian
What I love most about this show coat is the white piping and inner hot pink piping. You may not be able to see the hot pink piping, but you’ll know that it’s there! Sometimes that is enough. This jacket is tailored with a beautiful fit and is stretchy and waterproof. How great!
Wellington Hunt Coat
Tail Coat
With the Asmar Tail Coat, it comes with 4 interchangeable tips (omg! how perfect to always have the opportunity to match with your horse!) that are plum, pewter, deep red, and golden/yellow. This jackets comes in your choice of black or navy pinstripe. I think this one is well worth the money!
Couture Hippique
Take a look at this show jacket from Couture Hippique. I love everything about it! I love the buttons, the piping, and the detail at the waist. How flattering!
Kentucky Riding Apparel
It’s all in the details! The piping plus buttons equal perfection! This jacket also comes in black.
Pikeur
Pikeur is a well known and trusted brand in the equestrian world (as it should be!). They continuously offer beautifully tailored clothes in high quality fabrics. They also stay on top of fashion trends, and you can never go wrong with anything by Pikeur. I love the zippered pockets on this jacket along with the colored stone detail on the left side. Beautiful jacket!
